The star is a symbol of hope for humans. But in art it always plays a supporting role.
In general, in order to express stars in art, some white dots are drawn in the night sky, or a yellow star-shaped figure is drawn, which is a little poor. The reason is simple. The stars are small and countless.
For example, if you try to represent 100,000 stars with small dots, it takes a lot of effort just to put the dots. It's a big waste of an artist's precious time just to make dots.
However, it is easy to put a lot of dots by using a computer.
Therefore, I developed a program that displays points that follow various distributions. I am trying to create art that expresses the gathering of stars using this.
星は人間にとって希望の象徴です。しかし、芸術ではいつも脇役です。
一般にアートで星を表現するためには、夜空に白い点がいくつか描いてあったり、または黄色の星形の図形がかいってあったり、ちょっと貧弱です。
例えば、１０万個の星を小さい点で表現しようとすると、点を打つだけで大変な労力が必要です。芸術家の貴重な時間を点を打つだけで使ってしまうのは大きな無駄です。
しかし、コンピュータを使えば多数の点を打つことは簡単にできます。
そこで、わたしは色々な分布に従う点を表示するプログラム開発しました。これを使い星が集まるりを表現するアートの作成を試みています。
